Is it possible for an auto shop to smell like an engine AND give warm and cozy vibes? Yes. The staff is friendly and welcoming, always taking the time to explain the situation/work performed, and often (in my case) going WAY above and beyond to research and solution an unusual scenario (special shoutout to Brad!). They are honest and ethical and don’t prey on consumers. More than once, I’ve approved work that wasn’t able to be tested (the noise never happens when it’s supposed to!), and they adjusted my invoice accordingly. I also appreciate the tech-forward options (not requirements!, if you’re old school) available to clients. Such as the ability to book online, review proposed and itemized work on my phone before deciding if and how to proceed, and the option to communicate and receive updates via text. Overall, it’s a knowledgeable shop with a small town feel and big city results. Or maybe it’s the log cabin interior of the office 😆.

Highly recommend! They were extremely helpful and kind. I was not sure what was wrong with my car and was worried it was the transmission. They were able to find the issue very quickly and it was not the transmission. They sent over the diagnostic information and had everything split by issue and Zander was incredibly helpful and took the time to go through everything line by line with me and let me know exactly what needed to be done and how urgent it was. They had my car done faster than originally quoted and were very fair with pricing. The whole process was incredibly simple and efficient. Will definitely be returning if I have any needs in the future!

Love these guys! Brad and Zander are amazing! They are so informative-- they gave me all the details on what and why I needed the repair, and it was done quickly! My service engine light came back on a week later, and they rechecked it right away and got it resolved. And they are both really pleasant guys! I highly recommend Salas!

I had an excellent experience with Sallas! From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly and professional. Brad took the time to clearly explain what was going on with my vehicle. He was honest about the repairs needed and didn’t try to upsell anything unnecessary, which I really appreciated. The work was completed quickly and at a fair price, and my car is running better than ever. It’s such a relief to find a place you can truly trust. I’ll definitely be coming back for future maintenance and recommending them to friends and family. Five stars all the way!

Brought in my 2003 GMC Sierra because I was sure it needed a new engine. After being diagnosed, it was actually not the engine, but the PCM and multiple other issues that would mimic a bad engine. Brad and his team went above and beyond to get my truck back to standard. It runs better than it ever has, and its got over 320k miles. It runs like a dream now, and I would recommend Sallas Automotive to everyone. Fair pricing, very knowledgeable techs, and overall excellent staff. It's difficult these days to find a good reliable shop, and I'm thankful I've found this one. Sallas Automotive is my new mechanic shop. I'd argue that they are the best in Kansas City. Thanks again fellas for getting me back on the road and saving me a ton of money. I appreciate you guys!
